It was the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg that it had to be paid within a few days after the bank was closed and placed under special supervision by the BNB on 20 June 2014 and not a whole month after the BNB Board decided on 6 November 2014 to withdraw its licence. The only adequate decision in this case was made by the EU institutions and not by the native ones.
