Pavel Bandilov, Financial Analyst, Investor Club, 11.08.2018
The majority of US companies have already announced their financial results for the second quarter of 2018. They turned out to be better than 24% overall, compared to their results for the first three months of the year. This is what Pavel Bandilov, financial analyst, said in the show “Investor Club” with host Ivaylo Lakov.
Bandilov commented on Tesla’s main CEO’s desire to write off the company and make it private. He pointed out that investors’ concerns are justified, and pressure on their part has also affected Musk.
“Considering the other car manufacturers and the presence of so many large and already established brands with opportunities, Musk is trying to fight on a truly competitive market. To a large extent, the company relies on his charisma.”
According to Bandilov, one of the most interesting results in the reporting season is that of Facebook, after which the company wiped out over $100 billion of its market value at once. The analyst took this into account as a result of its too high expectations as a result of its long period of good financial performance.
“Any sudden movements in companies that generate good revenue are due to high expectations.”
The guest pointed out that the good results of the technology giant Apple, which became the first US company with a market capitalization of 1 trillion. dollars, are obviously a result of the high number of sales of the company’s devices, despite the great competition it is facing.
Bandilov also said that Alphabet, Google’s mother company, has a good pace in the development of all its divisions.
