The market is beginning to enter a higher phase, which is observed at a later stage in its development before a correction occurs or it reverses direction. This is what Pavel Bandilov, CEO of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Industrial FNI REIT said in the program “The World Is Business” with host Ivaylo Lakov.
Bandilov commented on the situation around the shares of GameStop, which rose by several hundred percent after small investors led a battle against hedge funds that bet on short positions.
“What happens brings nothing to the market, even more value, no matter how we measure it. Purely psychologically this does not help the investor’s proper behavior, because these growths and declines are not sustainable and stable so that we can manage our portfolio.”
According to the expert, Robinhood’s decision to ban trade in certain shares remains misunderstood.
Bandilov recommended targeting stocks of companies that have a foundation, although they probably will not bring such yield to investors.
“The most important thing for an investor is to be able to sleep peacefully. If your movements bring too much adrenaline, it won’t help you stay on the market.”
“What everyone expects is to see how the market will develop after the coronavirus,” said Bandilov.
