Pavel Bandilov, financier, and Hristo Hristov, economic blogger, Business Start, 05.01.2018
I’m a little more pessimistic about 2018. We have extremely many factors that are positive, but it depends on how they develop over time. This was commented by economic blogger Hristo Hristov in the show “Business Start” with host Zhivka Popatanasova.
“The list of ETFs on the German Stock Exchange is a fact, but here we will see how the German investor will react and how interesting our exchange will be.”
In words, if things turn out to be positive, there’s going to be a flow of new capital here.
“If this is combined with the listing of new companies, which are large and promising and attract the attention of foreign investors, we may see an attack by Sofix at the border of 1000 points in 2018. But that depends on how things are going to turn out during the year.”
According to him, in terms of the economy as an external environment for the moment, everything seems positive.
“Prognoses are for the continuation of GDP growth, as well as in various other sectors.”
Financer Pavel Bandilov added that there are persistent rumors about a large IPO on the market.
“I think it will really prove to be a good market accelerator. The other process that I continue to observe with interest is how things are going with Sopharma as the big investor comes out. This, too, I think in the short term will give investors a little breath.”
